Free Kidney Health Screening
KHAKY volunteers are available for kidney disease screenings at health fairs, church and civic events. These screenings include a 10 point urinalysis. Results are provided within minutes.
Sidney the Kidney Classroom Education Program
Sidney, KHAKY's life-sized mascot, and trained volunteers visit classrooms and school and civic events to share basic kidney awareness education.
Speakers are provided to local churches, civic organizations and schools to share information about kidney disease, the importance of early detection and organ donation.
O’Meara Kidney Health Screening
Named after a volunteer who lost his battle with kidney disease, this program offers employers on site employee screenings. Confidential results are provided to the employee within minutes. Employers are asked to make a donation for each employee screened to help offset the cost of the screening.
